A spacious vintage French armoire in exceptional condition. Made of oak, this dates from around 1950. The wood has a beautiful warm patina and sheen which contrasts beautifully with the brass hinges and door escutcheons. Rich with detail, floral carvings are set against swirling circular motiffs in the style of Louis XIII furniture. Internally, the armoire offers a fantastic amount of storage with a hanging area and separate shelving area. An upper shelf area runs across the entire width. The armoire comes with 2 fully working keys.
This armoire is fully knockdown, dissembling into manageable pieces for ease of transport. It is very easy to assemble but buyers will receive a step by step guide to help them should they need it.
Condition: Excellent. There is a light crack in the wood on the right hand side top panel, this is only noticeable when viewed from the inside.
