1. Do you have a premises where I can view your items? We don't currently have a showroom, Dazzle Vintage Furniture is an online boutique only. This allows us to keep our prices low and offer free delivery to buyers in England & Wales. We always provide detailed descriptions of items and include lots of photographs enabling buyers to make an informed choice. 2. I have some furniture that I would like to sell, will you buy it from me? Sorry, no. We don't purchase furniture from individual sellers. The cost of transportation means it is simply not cost effective. We buy all our armoires in France from a range of established sources and our garden furniture is sourced locally. |
3. How will items of furniture and/or antique mirrors be delivered?
We use a number of trusted couriers to deliver our armoires, antique mirrors and items of garden furniture. All stated mirror prices are inclusive of delivery to mainland UK, excluding the Scottish Highlands. Stated armoire and garden furniture prices are inclusive of delivery to mainland England and Wales. For buyers in Scotland quotes are available on request. When you make a purchase from us we pass your contact details onto the most suitable company and will contact you as soon as we can to give an estimated delivery date.
4. Can I have an armoire/mirror/garden furniture set delivered on the day of my choice?
Sorry, no. Most couriers will give you a date and a 2 hour window. You can request a phone call from the driver on the day so that you don't have to wait in.
5. If I am not ready to receive the item straight away can you store it for me?
Yes. We are happy to store items for customers free of charge for up to 2 weeks after purchase. Due to space restrictions this is the maximum period we can offer. If you are moving house or similar, we would advise receiving the item and putting it in temporary storage. It is important to note that if you choose not to have the item delivered to you within the standard time frame the purchase may be outside of the cancellation period. 6. What happens if my item arrives damaged?
All our items are very carefully handled and transported. We have chosen our designated couriers, both furniture and parcel, with great care. We urge buyers to fully check their item before accepting and signing for it. This applies to furniture and accessories. If fault is found furniture customers should flag this to the delivery driver at the time. Postal courier customers should inform us as soon as possible by email, including photographs of the damage and the packaging. 7. Can I return an item? Yes. Customers have the right to cancel (i.e. request a return) within 14 days of receipt. As furniture can take time to be collected and/or delivered we ask that you contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item if you wish to return it. We will arrange a full refund for the purchase price of the item but customers must cover the cost of return transport/postage. |
8. Can you arrange delivery to Europe and beyond?
We are not currently able to arrange delivery of large items outside of the UK. If you can arrange your own shipping we are more than happy to facilitate in every way we can. For postage of smaller accessory items please contact us telling us the item you are interested in and your home country. We will try our best to find you the cheapest quote!
9. I would like to buy a French armoire but I would like a hanging rail and/or extra shelves. Is this possible?
Yes, we can provide the fitting of a hanging rail and/or extra shelves but we do ask for an extra payment to cover the cost of labour and materials. We use wooden rails with brass fittings so that they are in keeping with the age of the item. In the case of knockdown armoires we fit the rail to one of the existing shelves. The cost of fitting a hanging rail is £30.
Where an armoire already has a hanging rail but you would like a full set of shelves, we can provide these (sympathetically aged to match the armoire style) for £25 per shelf. If you would like a hanging rail or extra shelves please contact us after purchase and we will invoice you for the extra charge. Note that the fitting of extras may delay delivery by up to a week.
