An extremely striking antique French armoire. Dating from the early 1900s, this is a very robust piece, made of quality oak. It is of beautiful proportions, very deep and not too tall for UK homes. It has a wealth of pretty detailing, all hand carved, as well bun feet and an unusual domed cornice. Most likely hailing from Normandy, it comes with a pretty pair of brass escutcheons and the original fully working key. Internally, the armoire offers fantastic storage, with a shelf and newly fitted hanging rail.
This armoire is fully knockdown, dissembling into manageable pieces for ease of transport. Being an older armoire it is held together with wooden dowel pegs. Buyers will receive a step by step guide to help them with assembly.
