An immaculate example of the French ‘ Olympe’ Lamp. This is a ‘vintners’ lamp, used by the vintner when in the cellar selecting the evening’s wine. Typical of these lamps it has felt interior and is guaranteed ‘Inexplosible’ when used with ‘mineral essence’ . We have tested it with Barratine Pure Bright Indoor lamp oil and it works perfectly. It bears the five rings that were the trademark of the French Olympe Lamp company.

Condition: This oil lamp is in over all excellent condition having been recently cleaned and refurbished. It comes with a wick and is ready to use.
