A striking decorative French mirror in the Henri II style. Dating from the early 1900s, this is a dramatic statement piece, being far larger than is usual for this style. The original bevelled glass is set within an elegant oak frame with pretty carved detailing and fluted columns. It has been sympathetically painted and waxed. The mirror glass is significantly aged, with large areas of silvering all adding to the charm.
Paint: Craig & Rose ‘Pale Mortlake Cream’ eco-friendly eggshell
Finish: Black wax/clear wax
Condition: Very good. As above, the mirror glass is siginificantly silvered and therefore will not appeal to buyers who do not like aged glass.
Measurements: H: 160 cm, W: 106 cm
